A note on the season

Every winter has a colour that everyone remembers. For us it is crimson: the red of a ribbon untied on a holiday morning, of the first seat at a first concert, of the dress a girl asks to wear again the very next day.

The Crimson Season is our Autumn Winter 2027 collection of girls' occasion dresses, told in a single colour and two editions.

Eleven styles, from nine months to twelve years. Crepe that keeps its shape, organza and tulle that catch the light, and the details that make a dress worth keeping: flowers, bows, pearls, crystals and feathers. Every look arrives complete with its accessories.

Dresses a mother chooses with care, and a daughter wears until they no longer fit.

Edition One

Crimson Joy

The days of the season

Crimson Joy is the part of the season that gets worn the most. Seven girls' party dresses for the weeks between the first frost and the new year: birthdays, school concerts, Christmas, family lunches that run into the evening, the visit to the grandparents.

Crimson Joy — girls' occasion dresses in red

Each one feels like an occasion and still lets a girl run, sit on the floor and dance. Crepe keeps a clean, structured line from morning to night; tulle brings lightness and movement; an organza bow, a yoke of flowers, a scatter of pearls or crystals gives every style its own moment.

Chapter 01

Special enough for the occasion, effortless enough to let her run.

The two dresses she will wear most this winter: to the school concert, the birthday party, the lunch at her grandparents' that runs on into the evening. Crepe and tulle in the season's red, cut to move with a girl who will not sit still, and lined in cotton so she keeps them on until the very end.

Dressed for the day, not just the photograph.

For birthdays and school concerts

The Nell Dress

A tulle party dress that feels like a celebration from the first minute and still lets her run. A row of pearls traces the high yoke; across the tulle skirt, flowers laser-cut from the dress's own crepe each hold a pearl at their centre. A pearled crepe brooch finishes it, and it comes with its crown and a bag on a pearl handle.

Pearls, flowers, and nothing she has to sit still for.

For Christmas lunch, and the party it turns into

The Holly Dress

Clean crepe below, and at the yoke a band of three-dimensional crepe flowers on lisa tulle, each with a crystal at its heart. The balloon sleeves are built in three layers — cotton lining, organza and tulle — and a voile tulle sewn into the skirt gives it volume without a hoop. Crown and bag included.

The crystals catch the light every time she moves.

Chapter 02

The dress she reaches for first, for every celebration of the season.

Three dresses that cover the whole family table, from nine months to eight years. The crepe keeps its clean line from the first guest to the last, and the details — a hem of pearled flowers, an organza brooch, a bow set with crystals — are the ones a girl points to when she chooses.

From her first winter to her eighth, the same red.

For her very first celebrations

The Poppy Dress

A baby girl's party dress in the season's red, from nine months. A ring of layered flowers runs around the crepe hem, a pearl in each, and an organza flower brooch pins on at the chest and comes off again in a moment. Her crown carries one large organza flower.

Her first winter, in the family colour.

For the dress she chooses herself

The Faye Dress

A clean A-line with no yoke, so nothing interrupts the line of the crepe, and a single layered organza flower at the neckline. Quiet enough for every day of the holidays, finished enough for the party at the end of them. It comes with a crown, and a bag dressed in organza flowers on a pearl handle.

Proof that one flower is enough.

For the moment everyone turns round

The Ivy Dress

A large organza bow set with crystals and pearls sits front and centre, and a hem of small layered flowers answers it below. Organza ties come from under the arms and fasten in a second bow at the back, so the fit can be set on the day — useful when a girl sits between two sizes. Her crown carries pearled organza flowers.

A bow at the front, a bow at the back, and a twirl in between.

Chapter 03 of The Crimson Season — girls in red occasion dresses

Chapter 03

Made for twirling, and for little sisters who want to be just like her.

Dotted tulle and a bow set with crystals and pearls, in two cuts: an empire waist from two years, a high yoke from three. Hang them side by side and they read as a pair — what the older sister wears, and what her younger sister will not leave the shop without.

Two sisters, one dotted tulle.

For the little sister who wants it all

The Joyce Dress

An empire waist set just under the bust, and a skirt of dotted flock-printed lisa tulle that falls clean at the hem. At the front, a bow finished with crystals and pearls; at the back, an organza sash through belt loops, tied in a double bow. From two years — a toddler dress for the youngest girls, who want exactly what their sister is wearing.

Grown-up details, sized from two.

For the older sister, and every party after

The Cleo Dress

The same dotted flock-printed lisa tulle as the Joyce, cut with a high yoke for girls from three to eight. An organza bow at the front carries crystals and pearls, and the look comes complete with a pearled crown and a bag on a pearl handle. Shown next to the Joyce, it finishes the pair.

The one her little sister will want next year.

Edition Two

The Crimson Gala

The occasion itself

The Crimson Gala is for the day that is circled on the calendar: the wedding where she is the flower girl, the christening, the New Year's party, the photograph everyone will keep.

The Crimson Gala — girls' occasion dresses in red

Four statement dresses in tulle and organza, two of them falling to the floor, finished with feathers, flowers and crystals. They are made to be noticed the moment she walks in and to stay beautiful until the very last dance.

Chapter 04 of The Crimson Season — girls in red occasion dresses

Chapter 04

Petals and pearls for her first grand evening, light enough to dance all night.

One dress in two lengths: the Marie below the knee from two years, the Clara to the floor for girls from eight. A skirt built up in four layers — cloth lining, voile tulle, satin and organza — gives the volume of an evening dress, and the sash and the brooch come away for the next occasion.

Below the knee at four, to the floor at ten.

For her first grand evening

The Marie Dress

It flares from just under the bust and falls below the knee, over a skirt built up in four layers: cloth lining, voile tulle, satin and organza, with pearled organza flowers scattered across it. The sash and the three-dimensional flower brooch both come away, so the dress that went to the wedding can go to the next birthday too.

Four layers of skirt, and every one of them moves.

For the older girls, all the way to the floor

The Clara Dress

The Marie, taken to the floor for girls from eight to twelve, and as right for a junior bridesmaid as for the gala. The same four-layer skirt — cloth lining, voile tulle, satin, organza — built with a heavier satin, and finished with a pearled crown. Shown with the Marie, it dresses two sisters as one.

The gala dress, in her size.

Chapter 05 of The Crimson Season — girls in red occasion dresses

Chapter 05

A whisper of feather, a glint of crystal, and every eye on her.

The two statement pieces of the season, for the wedding, the christening and the New Year's party. Ostrich feather and crystal, scalloped square necklines, tulle that falls to the floor on the Aria — and a sash, a brooch and a neck band that each come away, so the same dress can be worn again more simply.

Made for the photograph everyone keeps.

For the wedding and the christening

The Viola Dress

For girls from two to seven: a scalloped square neckline with three crystal drops, and at each shoulder ostrich feather and pearled organza flowers — the detail that makes it the dress of the day. The sash and the crystal brooch both detach, so after the ceremony it can be worn again, more simply.

The one they ask about at the reception.

For the New Year's party and the last dance

The Aria Dress

Floor-length tulle for girls from eight to twelve, with a scalloped square neckline and a half-balloon sleeve. At the waist, a sash trimmed with feather and crystal, its organza ties finished with flowers at the back; at the neck, an organza flower with a round crystal. Both come away, so it dresses down as easily as it dresses up.

The last dress of the season, and the one she will remember.

The Making

One colour across eleven dresses, and the cloth doing the separating.

  1. i

    Cotton next to the skin

Every dress in the season is lined in cotton. A child who is too warm takes a dress off before the evening is over.

  2. ii

    Volume without a hoop

Where a skirt stands away, a voile tulle sewn into the lining carries it. She can sit through a ceremony and stand up with the skirt still full.

  3. iii

    Crepe that holds a line

A stretch double crepe keeps a clean, structured shape from morning to night.

  4. iv

    Tulle that moves

Lisa tulle, plain or flock-printed with dots, brings lightness; organza catches the light where the two cloths meet.

  5. v

    Trims that come away

Several styles carry a detachable sash, brooch or neck band, so one dress serves more than one evening.
